From large companies with household names to the many hundreds of small and midsize manufacturers, the East Bay is home to a diverse array of producers of fuel, food, electronics, chemicals, biotech, apparel, and printed material, all of which serve an enviable array of supply chain clients and end users across the globe.
The East Bay is home to a well-established and continually evolving infrastructure for goods movement. With the nation's fifth largest container port, several seaports, airports, rail lines and highways, the East Bay has historically had a central location providing connectivity to global markets, particularly in Asia. It is also home to companies that are designing new technologies to improve goods movement everywhere.
Â
The organizers of Make It & Move It! invite manufacturers and logistics executives to participate in discussions with our federal, state, and local policymakers about the public policies and talent needed to support their success.Â
East Bay Advanced Manufacturing Partnership and East Bay Transportation & Logistics Partnership have come together for this event.
These two partnerships consist of over 500 manufacturing and transportation & logistics companies, and numerous public and private sector organizations working collaboratively to augment the economic vitality of our communities.Â
